Hi! This is Bella Gomez, I own Bubbles United Volleyball Academy. I started this club when my old club that I played at for 6 seasons closed down after my last year. I knew I had to create a home for so many volleyball players who have had rough experiences with other clubs and are looking for a new home.

My last club, Baymeadows Volleyball Academy (or BVA) was everything to me. When my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago, my club family rallied around us. When I had a tough day at school, I had somewhere and an extra family to lean on. I had a group of girls who not just made me a better player, but made me a God-fearing, kind, confident person. That is my mission for this club.

I started making fun videos on TikTok not thinking anything would come from it. I named my account BellaBubbles, because all my teammates thought it would go well with my bubble braids, and my bubbly personality. I never thought a silly account I made with my friends would become a huge blessing from God.

Our first season with Bubbles United has been very hard, extremely challenging, but has taught us so much. We had over 100 girls tryout and can’t wait for next season already!

Our goal for the next few years is to grow and expand, open our own gym, and continue reaching girls who want to build a culture.
