Tryouts & Summer Open Gyms
Tryouts will be July 7 for ages 15-18. Ages 15 &16 5:30-7:00pm; Ages 17&18 7:00-8:30pm. Tryout fee of $50 if you register before July 6. Tryout fee will be $75 day of.
Tryouts for 14 & under will be July 11. Ages 11 & under 8:30am-9:30am; Ages 12-14 will be 10-11:30am.

Bubbles Open Gyms:
Open gyms will be open to all players, Ages 8-18.
Returning Bubbles players will pay $10 each. New players $15 each.

Bella Gomez
Hi! My name is Bella Gomez and I am the club owner/director and also the U16 National Head Coach. I played volleyball since I was 9 years old, I was ranked number 8 setter in the state of Florida, won Gateway and District 7A championship at Mandarin high school and was also awarded Gateway Champion first team my senior year. I have been coaching since I was around 12 years old at Annunciation Catholic School, and now I am going to take over the program in the winter. I love coaching the girls and passing on my love for the game, and teaching them how to play for Jesus all at once.

Hi I’m coach Hilary I started playing volleyball in the sixth grade and continued on through high school playing many club seasons in between. After graduation I began coaching a junior high team as well as a 13’s club team for BCVC and a freshman team at MHS. I got married and moved away and started a family, I’m now a mom to four beautiful babies. Ages 13, 9, 8, and our surprise caboose 2. I love hanging out with my kids and my chickens who are like my mini children lol. I love the lord, and he has recently laid it on my heart to homeschool my our children. It is a new and exciting journey for us. However volleyball has never been far from my heart. It is my true passion other than being a mom. Im so excited to join Bubbles United and I’m looking forward to an amazing season.
Nestor Gomez
Assistant Club Director, U11 Head Coach, U18 Head Coach
Hello I’m Coach Gomez! I’m the assistant director at Bubbles. I coach the 18 national team and U11 team. I’ve been coaching youth sports for 16 years. Coaching is something that I’m very passionate about. I love being the underdog and beating the teams that we shouldn’t beat. I was the 2017 Dye Clay coach of the year and I’ve won gold in most of the different levels in volleyball including the highest open division. I love to build players up that have lost their confidence and push them to levels they didn’t think they could reach. I want the players I coach to be confident in their skills and know that they can play with anyone. I want my teams to have fun but be dominant. I look forward to continue making Bubbles one of the premier volleyball clubs in the area. One of the Bible verses that I really like is
Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Deconda Johnson
U16 Deconda National Head Coach
Coach Dee to her athletes, is the Head Coach of 16 Nationals, a role she approaches with passion and a wealth of experience. Originally from Houston, TX, she's built a fulfilling life, celebrating 22 years of marriage and raising three amazing adult children. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor's in Social Science with a concentration in Education and a minor in Psychology, which she seamlessly integrates into her coaching approach. Beyond her academic achievements, her professional career took an interesting turn into the world of Healthcare/IT. Volleyball, however, has always held a special place in her heart. She dedicated a combined 12 years to playing the sport and has coached for 5 years, including valuable experience gained overseas and 9 years in counting as a Volleyball mom. Coach Dee finds strength in her faith, embracing Psalm 46:10, 'Be still and know that I am God,' as a constant reminder that God is in control, even when faced with overwhelming circumstances. This belief translates into her coaching philosophy, where she not only teaches the game but also imparts vital life lessons such as mental toughness, accountability, responsibility, teamwork, respect, and resilience. When she's not on the court, you can find Coach Dee indulging in her love for food, travel, and shopping."
Coach Morales

She’s a wife, proud mom of two, and loves her fur baby Lilly. Coach Morales has been inspiring the youth as an educator for 15 years and had the honor of being awarded two time teacher of the year while working in both Duval and Clay County. She’s currently a math teacher and is used to coaching her math team. But now she is ready to coach on the court with her same values of meeting the youth where they are and providing them with the support they need to achieve their goals. Coach Morales has been a volleyball mom for eight years and this is where she found a love for the game. She’s excited for this new opportunity. A verse she enjoys is Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
